More than 1,000 people get together every year for great music, awesome barbecue and a dance party to raise money for the Heart Division of the Spartanburg Regional Foundation. An Uplifting Event
More than 600 women who are affected by breast cancer attended the first “An Uplifting Event: Coming Together to Stop Breast Cancer” in October, a luncheon sponsored by the Spartanburg Regional Foundation. This luncheon included meaningful messages of courage, hope and dignity by community leaders who are standing strong in the fight against this disease. Learn more about An Uplifting Event.
Wings of Hope Butterfly Release
Those who battle life-threatening diseases like cancer often feel like they have been offered a “second flight” once treatment ends. The Wings of Hope Butterfly Release in August each year, provides the Spartanburg community with a way to donate to hospital programs and projects, while watching a beautiful butterfly of their own be released into the evening sky.
