An Uplifting Event
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and the Spartanburg Regional Foundation are taking every precaution, including physical distancing, to reduce the spread of the virus. As part of this ongoing effort, we are not currently holding our annual fundraising events. We look forward to providing more information on this and other events in the months ahead.
Coming Together to Stop Breast Cancer
An Uplifting Event is a time when women throughout our community come together to celebrate and support efforts in the battle against breast cancer.
Presented by the Spartanburg Regional Foundation, highlights of the luncheon include messages of courage and hope from cancer survivors as well as perspectives on breast cancer prevention and treatment. The event raises funds to support free mammography screening for uninsured women and other avenues to expand access to screening and care through the Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health.
