Spartanburg Regional Hospice Entrance
The Hospice Home
From the paint on the walls, to the décor and furniture, the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home is designed to put families at ease during a difficult time and give them a space to cherish moments together.
The Hospice Home is a full-service, 15-bed inpatient facility that’s available when a patient’s medical condition warrants a short-term inpatient stay for pain control or symptom management. As a community-based, not-for-profit program, services are provided to all eligible people, regardless of their ability to pay.
Funding Need
When the Hospice Home was built in 2006, the goal was to incorporate an entrance through the Upper Chinquapin Greenway – an adjoining natural area often identified by patients and their families as a peaceful, picturesque place to spend time together.
Currently, those visiting the Hospice Home drive through the Hilltop neighborhood, increasing vehicular traffic, including emergency vehicles, in this residential area. A new roadway will provide dedicated access to the Hospice Home from Graham Road.
In partnership with the Spartanburg Area Conservancy, we plan to create a picturesque landscape that highlights the beautiful scenery of the Greenway, while ensuring minimum impact to the natural environment.
How can you help?
Support for the hospice roadway will allow us to provide a tranquil and peaceful entrance for patients and families facing the final stages of life, changing the narrative and perspective of this ethereal landscape.
