Abass Babatunde
In 2024, Abass joined the Spartanburg Regional Foundation as a grant manager to support strategic philanthropy efforts. He received his master’s degree in public health from Washington University in St. Louis and will graduate with his doctorate in Applied Health Research and Evaluation from Clemson University in 2025.
Abass has served as a public health professional with 10 years of experience in community health intervention design, evaluation and management. Working with international non-governmental agencies as well as research institutes as community health, monitoring and evaluation officers and data coordinator, Abass has extensive background in grant writing, management and research.
His public health interest lies in data analysis to evaluate and guide policies in prevention and mitigation of the spread of infectious disease and poor health outcomes while maintaining equity in access to care and treatment.
