Sharon Jackson
"I have worked here for more than 25 years and have seen so much change and impact from our employees and the Spartanburg Regional Foundation in the community and within the walls of our healthcare system. Whether it's your time or your money that you can give, it makes a difference. It brings people together, it builds relationships, and it creates a healthier community."
Kathy R Belcher
"Supporting the foundation is vital to our community. I lost my mother to heart disease and my dad to cancer. Knowing patients and families are being cared for and benefit from the foundation is very meaningful."
Joanie M. Liddle
“It's a wonderful opportunity to be able to give back to our community, employees during times of need, areas within our organization, and patients. It is a humbling experience to receive blessings through the generosity of others. It is also a tremendous blessing to be able to take part in blessing others.”
Robin W. Jenkins
“My donation to the Bearden-Josey Center is important to me because of my recent journey with breast cancer. I'm proud to say I'm now going on 3 years as a survivor, thanks to the great care I received here at SMC and the Bearden-Josey Center. Early detection is vital.”
Tracey Smith
“I had a premature baby, and he was 7 weeks early from his due date. He weighed 3lbs 14ozs and stayed in NICU for 2 weeks and 2 days before he was able to come home. I almost lost him twice during his stay, but the doctors and nurses in NICU took very good care of him. He was a fighter and I'm proud and happy to say that 36 years later, he has grown up to be a wonderful young man, serving his country in the military, and a father of his own two children. He grew up healthy, and I thank God that he didn't have any developmental problems that sometimes occur due to being a premature baby. I'm very thankful that NICU was there for me in my time of need, and that's why I give — to give other mothers the hope that their babies are in the best care in NICU.”
Meredith T. Fortner
“I feel privileged to be able to do my part to support the Spartanburg Regional Foundation because I have seen firsthand how the Foundation supports our community through distribution of funding to so many projects and programs that benefit a wide range of community members. My donation allows me the opportunity to give back in a way that has a far-reaching impact! It also allows me to express my appreciation for the numerous times that the Foundation has been an excellent partner and supported Heart Services over the years!”

Donations are designated to the fund you select and are distributed according to the guidelines of each specific fund. Gifts to the general fund support a variety of needs, including the Spartanburg Regional Foundation’s annual grants program. Grants are awarded to deserving community organizations and Spartanburg Regional departments.
100% of your contribution goes toward enhancing the programs and services of SRHS. The incentives we provide during the campaign are paid for out of the Foundation's operating budget.
With more than 100 individual funds and an annual competitive grants program, the Foundation is able to support direct assistance for patients in need, education for staff members, technology and facility improvements, and more.
