Watching a butterfly take flight can be a memorable and inspiring experience. It can be a meaningful way to remember a loved one or celebrate the feeling of a “second flight” following the end of treatment for a serious illness.
The Wings of Hope butterfly release is held each August in the beautiful Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health garden. This event is popular with all ages and raises money for the heart, cancer and hospice divisions of Spartanburg Regional Foundation.
Wings of Hope offers two donation levels. For $30, donors can add a butterfly to a mass butterfly release. For a $100 donation, donors can release an individual butterfly in honor or in memory of a loved one. For more information, call 864-560-6727.
