Support Where Your Heart Is

There are many ways to support special programs at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. For information regarding any of the following causes, call the Foundation at 864-560-6727.

Doctor’s Day

Doctor’s Day recognizes the hard work and dedication our doctors put in every day. Since 1990, Doctor’s Day has been recognized nationally. You can make a donation to the Spartanburg Regional Foundation in the name of a special doctor.

Holiday Meals for Hospice

For $55 you can feed a dozen people a Thanksgiving or Easter dinner. Through a partnership with Wade’s Restaurant, Spartanburg Regional Foundation is providing special meals to our hospice families.

Hospice Holding Cross

A cross that can be held can provide comfort to our hospice patients. For $15, a gift-wrapped holding cross will be given to our hospice patients.

Mammography Assistance Fund

Many women cannot afford to have a mammogram, the easiest way to catch breast cancer early on. For a gift of $150, women in need can receive a mammogram at the Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health.

Hospice Garden of Peace

The Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home provides inpatient hospice care for patients whose care needs cannot be met at home. A garden, currently under construction, will give families and patients an accessible, relaxing place to enjoy the Hospice Home’s natural environment overlooking the Chinquapin Preserve and Trail.

You can honor your family member and support the garden project by having a brick or paver under the arbor or in the picnic area permanently engraved with a message of your choice.

Baby Wall Project

The Bright Beginnings Tile Dedication Wall is a special way for those with a new baby in the family to commemorate this new event and donate to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). With a gift of $150, a beautiful tile etched with the baby’s name, date of birth and footprint will be placed on the wall at the Spartanburg Regional Center for Women. As a donor, you will receive a matching tile with an easel.

Memorial tiles are a beautiful way to honor the children who will live on in our memories. These memorial tiles can include the baby’s name, date of birth and date of passing, as well as a footprint. This is a special way to cherish the memory of a precious loved one.
